WHAT IS A CHRONOLOGICAL 4 GOSPEL BIBLE?
The Chronological 4 Gospels are the accounts of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, with a few verses from Acts and First Corinthians, combined in chronological form. This enables a person to read and study all four as a unit. One can read Matthew’s account of an event, and then read the same event in the other Gospels. There are certain events that are only presented in one or two Gospels, but others are presented in all 4. Now a student of the Bible can read and study how and when all the events occurred in relation to each other. Thus, a person’s knowledge and understanding of God’s Word should increase, as the Holy Spirit gives the understanding.

THE PARABLE OF THE
WHEAT AND TARES
32 YEARS
Mt 13:24. ANOTHER PARABLE PUT HE FORTH (TO) THEM, SAYING, THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS (LIKE) (or compared) (TO) A MAN WHICH SOWED GOOD SEED IN HIS FIELD:
Mt 13:25. BUT WHILE (EVERYONE) SLEPT, HIS ENEMY CAME AND SOWED TARES (or weeds) AMONG THE WHEAT, AND (then) WENT HIS WAY.
Mt 13:26. BUT WHEN THE BLADE (or wheat, or grain) WAS (SPROUTED) AND BROUGHT FORTH FRUIT (or grain, or heads, or a crop) (or when the wheat sprouted and formed heads of grain-JNT), THEN APPEARED THE TARES (or weeds) ALSO (or the tares became evident-NASB).
Mt 13:27. SO THE SERVANTS (or slaves) OF THE (LANDOWNER) CAME AND SAID (TO) HIM, SIR, (DID) NOT (YOU) SOW GOOD SEED IN (YOUR) FIELD? (WHERE) (DID THE WEEDS COME FROM-NIV)?
Mt 13:28. HE SAID (TO) THEM, AN ENEMY (HAS) DONE THIS. THE SERVANTS SAID (TO) HIM, (DO YOU WANT) THEN THAT WE GO AND (PULL) THEM UP?
Mt 13:29. BUT HE SAID, (NO); (BECAUSE) WHILE (YOU) (ARE PULLING) UP THE TARES (or weeds), (YOU) ROOT UP ALSO (some of) THE WHEAT WITH THEM.
Mt 13:30. LET BOTH GROW TOGETHER UNTIL THE HARVEST: AND IN THE TIME OF HARVEST I WILL SAY TO THE (HARVESTERS), (FIRST GATHER TOGETHER) THE TARES (or weeds), AND (TIE) THEM IN BUNDLES TO BURN THEM (up): BUT (then) GATHER THE WHEAT (and bring it) INTO MY BARN.

Mt 13:31 (pt 3). TO
Mt 13:31 (pt 4). A GRAIN OF MUSTARD SEED,
Mt 13:31 (pt 5). WHICH A MAN TOOK, AND SOWED (or planted) IN HIS
Mt 13:31 (pt 6). FIELD:
…………………………………………………
…………………………………………………
Mt 13:32 (pt 1). WHICH INDEED (this)
Mt 13:32 (pt 2). IS THE LEAST (or smaller) OF ALL SEEDS:

THE PARABLE OF THE LEAVEN HID IN THE MEAL
32 YEARS
…………………………………………………
Mt 13:33 (pt 1). ANOTHER PARABLE (SPOKE) HE (TO) THEM; THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN
…………………………………………………
Mt 13:33 (pt 2). IS LIKE UNTO LEAVEN (or yeast), WHICH A WOMAN TOOK, AND HID (or mixed) IN THREE MEASURES (or pecks) OF
Mt 13:33 (pt 3). MEAL (or a bushel of flour-JNT),
…………………………………………………
Mt 13:33 (pt 4). (UNTIL) THE WHOLE (or all) WAS LEAVENED (or until it worked all through the dough-NIV) (or then waited until the whole batch of dough rose-JNT). (Ref Lk 13:20-21)
HE SPOKE IN PARABLES TO THE MULTITUDES
32 YEARS
Mt 13:34 (pt 1). ALL THESE THINGS (SPOKE) JESUS (TO) THE MULTITUDE IN PARABLES;
…………………………………………………
Mt 13:34 (pt 2). AND WITHOUT A PARABLE SPAKE HE NOT (TO) THEM (or He did not say anything to them without using a parable-NIV):
Mt 13:35. THAT IT MIGHT BE FULFILLED (or so was fulfilled) WHICH WAS SPOKEN BY THE PROPHET, SAYING, I WILL OPEN MY MOUTH IN PARABLES; I WILL UTTER THINGS WHICH HAVE BEEN KEPT SECRET (or hidden) FROM THE FOUNDATION (or creation) OF THE WORLD (or universe).
Mt 13:36. THEN JESUS SENT THE (CROWD) AWAY (or left the multitudes), AND WENT INTO THE HOUSE: AND HIS DISCIPLES CAME (TO) HIM, SAYING, (EXPLAIN) (TO) US THE PARABLE OF THE TARES (or weeds) OF THE FIELD.
…………………………………………………
THE PARABLE OF THE WHEAT AND TARES EXPLAINED
32 YEARS
Mt 13:37. HE ANSWERED AND SAID (TO) THEM, HE THAT (SOWS) THE GOOD SEED IS THE SON OF MAN;
Mt 13:38. THE FIELD IS THE WORLD; THE GOOD SEED ARE THE CHILDREN (or sons, or people) OF THE KINGDOM; BUT THE TARES (or weeds) ARE THE CHILDREN (or sons, or people) OF THE WICKED (or evil) ONE;
Mt 13:39. THE ENEMY THAT SOWED THEM IS THE DEVIL (or Adversary); THE HARVEST IS THE END OF THE WORLD (or age); AND THE REAPERS (or harvesters) ARE THE ANGELS.
Mt 13:40. AS THEREFORE THE TARES (or weeds) ARE (PULLED UP) (or collected) AND BURNED (up) IN THE FIRE; SO SHALL IT BE IN THE END OF THIS WORLD (or age).
Mt 13:41. THE SON OF MAN SHALL SEND FORTH HIS ANGELS, AND THEY SHALL GATHER (or weed, or collect) OUT OF HIS KINGDOM ALL THINGS THAT OFFEND (or everything) (that cause people to sin-JNT) (or stumbling blocks), AND (all) THEM WHICH DO (or commit, or practice) INIQUITY (or lawlessness, or evil) (or all people who are far from Torah-JNT);
Mt 13:42. AND SHALL (THROW) THEM INTO A FURNACE OF FIRE: (in that place) THERE SHALL BE WAILING (or weeping) AND GNASHING OF TEETH (or where people will wail and grind their teeth-JNT).
Mt 13:43. THEN SHALL THE RIGHTEOUS SHINE FORTH AS THE SUN IN THE KINGDOM OF THEIR FATHER. (He) WHO (HAS) EARS TO HEAR, LET HIM HEAR.
THE PARABLE OF THE HIDDEN TREASURE
32 YEARS
Mt 13:44. AGAIN, THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS LIKE UNTO TREASURE HID IN A FIELD; THE WHICH WHEN A MAN HATH FOUND, HE (HID IT AGAIN), AND (THEN IN HIS JOY-NIV) (GOES) AND (SELLS) ALL THAT HE (HAS) (or owned), AND (BUYS) THAT FIELD.
THE PARABLE OF THE GOODLY PEARL
32 YEARS
Mt 13:45. AGAIN, THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS LIKE UNTO A MERCHANT MAN, SEEKING (or on the lookout for-JNT) GOODLY (or fine, or beautiful) PEARLS:
Mt 13:46. WHO, WHEN HE HAD FOUND ONE PEARL OF GREAT PRICE (or value), (he) WENT (away) AND SOLD (EVERYTHING) THAT HE HAD, AND BOUGHT IT.
THE PARABLE OF THE NET
32 YEARS
Mt 13:47. AGAIN, THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS LIKE UNTO A NET (or dragnet), THAT WAS CAST (or let down, or thrown) INTO THE SEA (or lake), AND (CAUGHT) (fish) OF EVERY KIND:
Mt 13:48. (And) WHICH, WHEN IT WAS FULL, (THE FISHERMEN) (PULLED IT) (UP) (on the) SHORE, AND (they) SAT DOWN, AND GATHERED THE GOOD (fish) INTO VESSELS (or containers, or baskets), BUT (THREW) THE BAD (fish) AWAY.
Mt 13:49. SO SHALL IT BE AT THE END OF THE WORLD (or close of the age-JNT): THE ANGELS SHALL COME FORTH, AND SEVER (or take out, or separate) THE WICKED (or evil people) FROM AMONG THE (RIGHTEOUS),
Mt 13:50. AND SHALL (THROW) THEM INTO THE FURNACE OF FIRE: (where) THERE SHALL BE WAILING (or weeping) AND GNASHING OF TEETH (or will…grind their teeth-JNT).
Mt 13:51. JESUS (SAID) (TO) THEM, HAVE (YOU) UNDERSTOOD ALL THESE THINGS? THEY SAY (TO) HIM, (YES), LORD.

Mt 13:53. AND IT CAME TO PASS, THAT WHEN JESUS HAD FINISHED THESE PARABLES, HE DEPARTED (or left) (or moved on) (FROM THERE).
JESUS GAVE ORDERS TO CROSS THE LAKE

LUKE
THE PARABLE OF THE SOWER EXPLAINED
32 YEARS
(THE WAYSIDE HEART)
Lk 8:11. NOW THE (meaning of the) PARABLE IS THIS: THE SEED IS THE WORD OF GOD (or God’s message).
Lk 8:12 (pt 1). THOSE
Lk 8:12 (pt 2). BY THE WAY SIDE (or along the path, or beside the road)
Lk 8:12 (pt 3). ARE THEY THAT HEAR;
Lk 8:12 (pt 4). THEN
Lk 8:12 (pt 5). (COMES)
Lk 8:12 (pt 6). THE DEVIL (or Adversary),
Lk 8:12 (pt 7). AND (TAKES) AWAY THE WORD (or message)
Lk 8:12 (pt 8). OUT OF THEIR HEARTS,
(SO THAT) THEY (MAY NOT) BELIEVE AND BE SAVED (or in order to keep them from being saved by trusting it-JNT).
(STONY HEART)
Lk 8:13 (pt 1). (And) THEY
Lk 8:13 (pt 2). ON
Lk 8:13 (pt 3). THE ROCK (or rocky soil)
Lk 8:13 (pt 4). ARE (THE ONES),
Lk 8:13 (pt 5). WHICH, WHEN THEY HEAR
Lk 8:13 (pt 6). RECEIVE THE WORD WITH JOY;
Lk 8:13 (pt 7). AND THESE HAVE
Lk 8:13 (pt 8). NO (firm) ROOT,
Lk 8:13 (pt 9). WHICH
Lk 8:13 (pt 10). FOR A WHILE
Lk 8:13 (pt 11). BELIEVE (or trust),
Lk 8:13 (pt 12). AND IN TIME OF TEMPTATION (or testing)
Lk 8:13 (pt 13). FALL AWAY.
(THORNY HEART)
Lk 8:14 (pt 1). AND THAT (seed) WHICH FELL
Lk 8:14 (pt 2). AMONG THORNS
Lk 8:14 (pt 3). ARE THEY,
Lk 8:14 (pt 4). WHICH, WHEN THEY HAVE HEARD, GO FORTH (or go along) (on their way),
Lk 8:14 (pt 5). AND
Lk 8:14 (pt 6). ARE CHOKED WITH
Lk 8:14 (pt 7). CARES (or life’s worries)
Lk 8:14 (pt 8). AND
Lk 8:14 (pt 9). WEALTH
Lk 8:14 (pt 10). AND PLEASURES (or gratifications) OF THIS LIFE
Lk 8:14 (pt 11). (crowd in),
Lk 8:14 (pt 12). AND BRING NO FRUIT TO PERFECTION (or maturity) (or their fruit never matures-JNT).
(GOOD HEART)
Lk 8:15 (pt 1). BUT
Lk 8:15 (pt 2). THAT (which is) (the seed)
Lk 8:15 (pt 3). ON
Lk 8:15 (pt 4). THE GOOD GROUND (or rich soil)
Lk 8:15 (pt 5). ARE THEY,
Lk 8:15 (pt 6). WHICH IN AN HONEST (or receptive) AND GOOD HEART, HAVING HEARD THE WORD,
Lk 8:15 (pt 7). KEEP IT (or hold it fast, or retain it),
Lk 8:15 (pt 8). AND BRING FORTH
Lk 8:15 (pt 9). FRUIT
Lk 8:15 (pt 10). WITH PATIENCE (or perseverance) (or by persevering produce a crop-NIV, or bring forth a harvest-JNT).
(Note: in verse 8, only this one brings forth only an hundredfold.)
(This is the only one that mentions an honest heart along with the good heart. It also mentions patience.)
NOTHING SECRET
ALL SHALL BE REVEALED
32 YEARS
Lk 8:16. NO MAN, WHEN HE (HAS) (LIT) A CANDLE, (COVERS) IT WITH A VESSEL (or bowl, or hides it in a jar-NIV), OR (PUTS) IT UNDER A BED; BUT (SETS) IT ON A (LAMPSTAND), (so) THAT THEY WHICH ENTER IN MAY SEE THE LIGHT. (Ref Mt 5:15; Mk 4:21; Lk 11:33)
Lk 8:17 (pt 1). FOR NOTHING IS
Lk 8:17 (pt 2). SECRET,
Lk 8:17 (pt 3). THAT SHALL NOT BE (REVEALED) (or disclosed); NEITHER ANY THING HID (or is secret, or concealed),
Lk 8:17 (pt 4). THAT SHALL NOT BE KNOWN (or disclosed)
Lk 8:17 (pt 5). AND COME ABROAD (or be brought out into the open-NIV, or come to light).
TAKE HEED WHAT YE HEAR
32 YEARS
( Consider: in the previous verses, we read of those who bring forth no fruit, and of others who bring forth some fruit, and others much fruit.)
( Consider also the type of heart they have; “ what” they listen to and “how” they listen.)
Lk 8:18 (pt 1). (CONSIDER) (or pay attention) THEREFORE HOW (YOU) (LISTEN):
Lk 8:18 (pt 2). FOR (WHOEVER) (HAS) (something), TO HIM SHALL (more) BE GIVEN;
Lk 8:18 (pt 3). AND (WHOEVER) (HAS NOTHING), FROM HIM SHALL BE TAKEN EVEN THAT WHICH HE
Lk 8:18 (pt 4). (SEEMS) TO HAVE (or thinks he has).
THE PARABLE OF THE MUSTARD SEED
32 YEARS
Lk 13:18 (pt 1). THEN
Lk 13:18 (pt 3). (JESUS),
Lk 13:18 (pt 2). SAID
Lk 13:18 (pt 4). UNTO WHAT IS THE KINGDOM OF GOD LIKE? AND (TO WHAT)
Lk 13:18 (pt 5). SHALL I (COMPARE) IT?
Lk 13:19 (pt 1). IT
Lk 13:19 (pt 2). IS LIKE
Lk 13:19 (pt 3). A GRAIN OF MUSTARD SEED,
Lk 13:19 (pt 4). WHICH A MAN TOOK, AND (THREW) (or planted) (IN) HIS (own)
Lk 13:19 (pt 5). GARDEN;
Lk 13:19 (pt 6). AND IT GREW,
Lk 13:19 (pt 7). AND (BECAME) A
Lk 13:19 (pt 8). GREAT
Lk 13:19 (pt 9). TREE;
Lk 13:19 (pt 10). AND THE (BIRDS) OF THE AIR (NESTED)
Lk 13:19 (pt 11). IN THE BRANCHES
Lk 13:19 (pt 12). OF IT. (Ref Mt 13:31-32; Mk 4:30-32)
THE PARABLE OF THE LEAVEN HID IN THE FLOUR
32 YEARS
Lk 13:20. AND AGAIN HE SAID, (TO WHAT) SHALL I (COMPARE) THE KINGDOM OF GOD?
Lk 13:21 (pt 1). IT
Lk 13:21 (pt 2). IS LIKE LEAVEN (or yeast), WHICH A WOMAN TOOK AND HID (or mixed) IN THREE MEASURES (or pecks) (or a bushel) OF
Lk 13:21 (pt 3). (FLOUR),
Lk 13:21 (pt 4). (UNTIL) (IT) WAS (all) LEAVENED (through) (or then waited until the whole batch of dough rose-JNT). (Ref Mt 13:33)
(ON THE LAKE)
JESUS CALMS A STORM
32 YEARS
Lk 8:22 (pt 1). NOW IT CAME TO PASS ON A CERTAIN DAY,
Lk 8:22 (pt 2). THAT (JESUS) WENT INTO A (BOAT) WITH HIS DISCIPLES:
Lk 8:22 (pt 3). AND
Lk 8:22 (pt 4). HE SAID (TO) THEM, LET US GO OVER (TO) THE OTHER SIDE OF THE LAKE.
Lk 8:22 (pt 5). AND (so) THEY LAUNCHED FORTH.
Lk 8:23 (pt 1). BUT AS THEY SAILED HE FELL ASLEEP:
Lk 8:23 (pt 2). AND
Lk 8:23 (pt 3). THERE CAME DOWN
Lk 8:23 (pt 4). A STORM (or fierce gale) OF WIND
Lk 8:23 (pt 5). ON THE LAKE;
Lk 8:23 (pt 6). AND
Lk 8:23 (pt 7). (THE BOAT
Lk 8:23 (pt 8). WAS)
Lk 8:23 (pt 9). (FILLING)
Lk 8:23 (pt 10). WITH WATER, AND (they) WERE IN (GREAT DANGER).
Lk 8:24 (pt 1). AND (THE DISCIPLES)
Lk 8:24 (pt 2). CAME TO HIM,
Lk 8:24 (pt 3). AND AWOKE HIM, SAYING,
Lk 8:24 (pt 4). MASTER, MASTER,
Lk 8:24 (pt 5). WE PERISH (or we’re about to die!-JNT, or we’re going to drown!-NIV).
Lk 8:24 (pt 6). THEN
Lk 8:24 (pt 7). HE AROSE, AND REBUKED THE WIND
Lk 8:24 (pt 8). AND THE (SURGING WAVES):
Lk 8:24 (pt 9). AND THEY CEASED,
Lk 8:24 (pt 10). AND THERE WAS A CALM.
Lk 8:25 (pt 1). AND HE SAID
Lk 8:25 (pt 2). (TO) THEM,
Lk 8:25 (pt 3). WHERE IS YOUR FAITH (or trust)?
Lk 8:25 (pt 4). AND THEY BEING AFRAID
Lk 8:25 (pt 5). WONDERED
Lk 8:25 (pt 6). SAYING
Lk 8:25 (pt 7). ONE TO ANOTHER,
Lk 8:25 (pt 8). WHAT MANNER OF MAN IS THIS!
Lk 8:25 (pt 9). FOR HE COMMANDETH
Lk 8:25 (pt 10). EVEN THE WINDS AND WATER,
Lk 8:25 (pt 9). AND THEY
Lk 8:25 (pt 9). OBEY HIM.
